1. The outside of the hotel could use a new coat of paint, but the inside is gorgeous The lower lobby where the bar, restaurant, and louge area are at the perfect location and and beautifully decorated.

3. Since the change to A Club they have now forgotten I am a frequent visitor and decided to not transfer any points to the new program, so I have decided it is time to check out the competition after a decade of loyalty.

6. Motel 6 bathroom (sorry that's actually an insult to Motel 6) worn carpet, no a/c to bedroom, fittings at least 10 years old except for 2 new, small flat screen tvs.

But if you want to move aroun get a car $9 a day to park not bad for miami,the highway is beside the hotel and 40min to sawgrass mills outlet,15min to dolphin mall a new mall that is very good ,1 hour to key largo florida keys and ten min to return car to airport rental and a free shuttle to your ship.

8. We stayed from boxing day til new year for a pre-cruise holiday, and booked the sofitel because of the great price we saw online and thought it a good location to use as a base to explore southern Florida.

9. It's obvious the hotel isn't brand new but the bed and the linens were very comfortable and we were able to get something good to eat in the hotel's lounge.

10. Our room was nice, the bathroom was very old and the only noticable attempt to renovate was the new but badly applied caulking around the tub and floors.
