This was our third visit to the Residence in downtown Memphis--I was interested in the number one choice on this site, but the reasonably priced rooms were completely booked, and I wasn't going to pay over $300 per night when I could stay at the Residence for $160, AND be within walking distance to most of the things we wanted to do (we did have to take the car to the Stax Museum, and to Graceland).

10. As regards parking - you are advised to call the hotel for directions to the closest parking lot, but, for some reason, the lady who answered when I called seemed reluctant (or maybe just unable) to give me any directions.
