1. The hotel, with its Art Deco lobby, is in a fantastic position for exploring the vibrant downtown area, being within easy walking distance of Beale Street, the Lorraine Motel (where Dr Martin Luther King was assassinated) and the Mississippi river boats.

3. The hotel is great , well positioned, comfy beds - all the staff were most helpful, and it is the only hotel we have stayed in that given us a complimentary dinner (which was available Monday - Thursday) Breakfast was also included, we would highly recommend it (even without the dinner).

6. We arrived earlier than check-in time, but Jo Anne at the desk quickly checked us in to an available room, which really set the tone for a number of positive interactions we had with the staff, whom I can`t praise enough.

9. However, I`d say that positives definitely outweighed the negatives, and I would highly recommend this hotel for a group who wanted a larger area than a standard hotel room.
