6. We were welcomed to this hotel, well not really welcomed, but came to this hotel with our booking not in the system (this was paid for a good 3-4 months earlier) and had to wait some time while the manager was called in to allocate us a room.

7. As we drove onto the hotel's brick paved parking area, we were greeted at the lobby entrance by two incredible flaming heat lamps, twinkle lights in the trees and a welcoming fire burning in the lobby fireplace.

10. The young room service chap was excellent (if you find the one who's twin brother plays chess) the bell hop chap was excellent and I absolutely loved how you felt like you were coming home each time you arrived back with the fireplace and the 'welcome back' comment as you came in the door.
