1. The location of the Pier House could not be better.

2. Being right off of Duval street was great, and what made it better was that the hotel sat far enough back that you can't hear the noise from the street.

3. This was not the case in the 7 days I only saw one ocean view room being used? I think you can get a much better hotel for the money.

4. Get a Horbor View room or better there are some sub-par room locations and outlooks, walk across the street to the local "Two Friends" restaurant for superior and less expensive breakfast, lunch and dinners.

9. If you are not interested in being in the 'thick of things', you are better off staying a few blocks off of Duval Street or at the south end of Duval Street.
