3. Our first room (#324) came with blood/other stained carpets which had clearly outstayed their welcome, grey (not by manufacture) thread-bare net curtains, badly stained walls, dirty sheets and a rather odd (but not in a nice way) smell which I coulndn't quite put my finger on.

4. After staying at the Hilton in Key Largo for 2 nights, which was like staying at the Hotel from 'The Shinning', the Sheraton Suites was a much welcomed change.
