1. The only negative aspect of the hotel is that they were doing construction on it at the time, which caused some disruption and I thought the location of the hotel was not in the best area.

Finally, enjoy the neighborhood, particularly El Rey, the bodega across the street with the best cafe con leche in the United States, and Notsuoh (Houston spelled backward), a funky bar a few doors down on Main Street which Robert Pattison of Twilight discovered on a trip to Houston and has raved about ever since.
