2. I don't know if it's because Detroit has low standards or if the Omni chain doesn't care, but if you can, find a similarly priced hotel that will give you value.

3. I really don't care about the nine dollars, but I am still mad about the hours we spent waiting instead of enjoying our hard earned weekend getaway.

4. The immediate area around the hotel is very nice, safe, and well taken care of, but the main drag (Jefferson, I think) looked to be a bit on the shady side.
