7. Despite a few confusions during our guests' booking period, we were thrilled when we arrived to find the hotel was beautiful, with brightly lit & spacious rooms, wide hallways & enormous bathrooms.

8. Long, long wide cement boardwalk with beautiful plantings the entire way, right next to the sparkling Detroit River (no sarcasm) and I believe you can walk it all the way to Joe Louis (not positive though) and that's quite a distance (maybe 3 miles).
