3. that's it?? Heard from the general Manager when we returned home and he questioned the validity of my story and then blamed the incident on the fact that the hotel was booked.

5. How many hotels have you stayed in where the general Manager is actually there to greet you and insure that your stay is above expectation as you head out the door? This the only hotel where I have had this experience.

Too Many Little Things Went Wrong Pros: generally kind staff; passable and reasonably priced restaurant Cons: dated property; room was dark and depressing; poorly insulated against sound; very low water pressure; horrible showerhead; unuseful bathroom layout; There are multiple hotels in the Dallas Market Center area so I had my choice, not just of what hotel family, but of which Hilton property to stay at.

10. Pro's- comfortable bed, and nice TV/shampoo, etc,, general Hilton/Doubletree amenities (but don't accept Amex in the gift shop? weird)Overall the age of the hotel was a surprise for a Doubletree property and the size of the room was a shock.
