1. This hotel is within walking distance of everything, including new (trivia: Casino is being constructed in old Higbe's department store, featured in A Christmas Story).

4. I am a gold elite Marriott member and was placed in a smallish room overlooking a massive construction site (huge new convention center).

5. The room was quite floral but felt newly refurbished, the entry to the room was a little weird as the door was on an angle from the main part of the room so you had to make a turn on entering.

7. They are building a new convention center across the road so keep in mind you may hear the 'beep, beep, beep' of reversing trucks starting at 7am 6 days a week.
