With further inspection, the new sink, although beautiful, it stopped up, water wouldn't drain, there weren't any ice buckets in any of the rooms we tried (but someone did bring one up for us, with ice) and with all of the upgrades that have been done, the phones in each room, looked like they should be from 1977 and were all falling apart.

9. On the up side, the hotel was located in beautiful downtown Charlotte and was not very expensive so if you plan on being out (not spending much time in the hotel) and need to be located close to downtown then this may not be an OK option.
