1. attentively adorned in 70s europorn chic (tinfoil and black glass in the elevators, huge lamps that resemble King Kong anal beads, brown and orange for every surface, fake mocha leather in all the right places and color changing 6 ft Swedish plastic unibody lamps accent the abandoned poolside lounge).

2. A couple starters would be: having sheets that actually cover the mattresses (along with mattresses that are not made solely of metal coils), staff that actually pays attention, 'corner-view city skyline rooms' that actually look onto the city (instead of the building next door that's being renovated).
