5. We were able to enjoy the excitement of a college town as well as the history and then retreat to this haven; a totally quiet, cool room with a beautiful view for a uninterrupted night's sleep followed by a delicious, complete breakfast the next morning.

7. I'm not sure if it was that everyone was trying to hard to fit into some southern cliche, or if it was the overcrowding, or if it was all the pretensiousness, or if it was the sad fact that the 'too cool' bar tenders overcharged my tab.

8. First of all, the room was very damp, musty and couldn't be cooled, no matter what I did.

9. This atmosphere perhaps makes one willing to overlook the small negatives I noted during our stay: these included the out of order elevator that served our end of the building, and the rather loud cooling/heating system in our room.
