1. Accessibility to the UNC campus, other area attractions and restaurants was easily within walking distance; the hotel also provided limited complimentary transportation to certain areas--but not Raleigh-Durham airport.

Last time our standard room was a little cramped (not bad), so this time we sprang for the King Suite, which was fabulous: luxuriously and attractively renovated with antique-style furniture, a big living room, big bathtub as well as a shower, semi-kitchenette (microwave etc but no burners), foyer, and extra w.

3. It's a very convenient location and very easy walk to area attractions (like the museum that is 2 block away) and the ton's of shopping and dining choices.
