5. Monday morning, hammering started at 6:50 am; today, it started at 7:45 and finished at 8 am, at which point, loud vibrating machinery (like a sander or buffer) started and continued until I left the room around 9:30.

6. Walls are thin; you can hear people down the hallway talking as if they're right outside your door - not fun when they're coming back from the bars at 2:30 am like last night.
