3. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful; however, it is a small staff, so allow adequate time for check-in/check-out, especially if you need the valet services or if you're checking out right at noon along with everyone else.

6. Dinner at Meli (adjacent to the hotel) was nice, trendy young waiters dressed in black shirts and pants, nice modern yet warm decor, and a small but adequate menu of chicken, fish and meat entrees.

7. Rooms are all individual and quirky - our heating/cooling system was more than adequate, though in mid summer it might not be the case.

8. The room was adequate, nice furnishings, one bedspread had a tear, there was a glass shelf in the bathroom that seemed loose and was slanted enough to allow things to slide off, one table lamp was not working, and half the length of the sheets were tucked under the end of the mattress.
