1. We were welcomed efficiently, but the desk staff person was not overly friendly and did not offer tips on what might be in the area or refer us to the concierge.

2. Not so here - they welcome dogs and don't make you feel like an inconvenience by relegating you to smelly, musty pet-only rooms.

3. The hotel welcomed him with a wonderful doggy package including snacks, a large bed, food bowl, water bowl, a Hilton dog collar tag (which he is still wearing) and several cleaning supplies in case of an accident (which he didn't have).

8. If you like sushi, Edo Sushi on the second floor of the Inner Harbor building you see directly across from the Renaissance is delicious and has a welcoming and efficient staff.
