2. So why does it seem to be such a problem for Marriott to upgrade their TV service?OK, one more positive about the Renaissance - the Envy steakhouse offers excellent steaks, delicious pea soup, a very nice chopped salad, and a fantastic 'crabmeat dynamite' appetizer.

3. I stay frequently at Marriott brand hotels and this hotel had many of the familiar positive attributes of a Marriott but also had some drawbacks.

6. The key positives here inlcude the tropical grounds and pool area (with abundant waterfalls); the hotel is centrally located on the strip, within a short walk to Cesars, Bellagio, Treasure Island, Venetian.
