1. Another negative was that the hotel is in between the new and old strips (adjacent to the former Sahara property) and this required at least a 3/4 mile walk through some shady areas to get to a casino (there isn't one on the Hilton property) or any other type of nightlife, so a taxi would be advised.

2. While the hotel is new and strives to have good service, you are seldom helped when arriving to and from by the valets even if they see you are disabled and with packages.

3. Our unit appeared to be recently updated with new carpet and furniture as everything seemed to be in like new condition.

7. Tip #3: Bring just enough plastic wrap and/or aluminum foil from home - this is not provided at the hotel to cover up leftovers, and that way you don't need to purchase a new roll from the store.

8. This is a horrendous property - very similar to a Hilton Garden Inn, except they are fairly new, but this is old and in disrepair.
