I know we could have traveled
cheaper
by bus, but the time wasted with long lines, waiting for it to arrive & stopping every block, it was much faster using a taxi.

If you walk out the resort to the boulevard and turn right there is another condominium complex next door and they have a CVS that is much
cheaper
and it is a short walk.

Rather than using the more expensive 'Marketplace' Deli downstairs, go next door to CVS pharmacy where you can buy food, wine/beer, souvineers, sandwiches etc - usually about 50 - 70%
cheaper
.

The CVS next door is somewhat
cheaper
but still more expensive that home (Miami area) If you want to stock up, take a cab to Albertsons, $8.

There's plenty enough comfortable chairs in the lobby area, the deli downstairs, and the poolside bar/restaurant to keep you occupied or you can take a short walk to the Circus Circus/Slots-o-Fun or the McDonald's for
cheaper
meal if you're hungry.

The monorail stop is just about 2 blocks away, & we found this is faster &
cheaper
than taking cabs or buses that get gridlocked in traffic & can ride up your fare.

Shuttle bus stops out front, $7 a ride, for two people it's actually
cheaper
to take a cab to the *REAL* hotels on the Strip.
