The lake view room was nice and comfortable and a
huge
plus goes to the shower's water pressure.

The service was far below standards- 4 young men stood around talking while my wife and I carried our own bags- not a
huge
deal as we traditionally pass on that service- but they did not even ask.

Don't get me wrong, everything was first class - the service, the staff, the food and the room - but I came here directly from the Mondrian in LA where I had a
huge
suite which was twice the size of my room here for 25% less price.

I also used the spa, which service-wise, was pretty good, facilities I've seen better but the steam eucalyptus room was a
huge
plus after my battle with the air in my room so it was fine.

So, I love Four Seasons and hate having to take away a full star from the review (if it could be a half, I would) but I really have to for one seemingly dumb reason that made a
huge
difference.

Also, our view was cluttered by a
huge
set of electric lines running across the lake-side of the property.

But having the outstanding service was far more important than a
huge
hotel room.

There is a
huge
power line pole that looks like an abstract piece of bad art right at the pool area.

There IS a
huge
condo under construction on the north side of the hotel ('City' side), but we paid up for a room on the river side and were not disappointed.

For example, great,
huge
flat screen TVs on granite topped table, but the bathroom was still a completely outdated reddish Spanish looking tile that did not go with the rest of the room at all.
"OK, but only Four Seasons quality in the lobby and reception "
