1. You are staying a few hundered meters from Union Square, almost next door to some of the most upscale hotels in America, and you are staying here for cheap, while all the other mugs are paying through the nose for what? daily maid service? a nice paint job? it is not worth paying two to three times more for a hotel when you have everything you could ever need at the Taylor Hotel.

5. There's a great little cafe on the corner - Honey Honey, which is very affordable, fast and nice with great food and a nice little neighborhood bar on the corner as well.

7. The shower gets HOT HOT water, which is quite nice after a long day walking around, and the views out the front are really lovely (I was on the 4th floor).

9. It was a nice start to my morning and I took a couple for the trip to the airport so all in all I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget.
