2. The rooms was thoroughly cleaned hours before I moved in to it, and I felt at home, and felt like being left to my own devices for a few days so I didnt bother demanding it be cleaned again during my stay.

8. I rather suspect they just canceled my reservation to make room for a longer one (mine was for three nights) but regardless to cancel it like that, after having confirmed it, without even calling or emailing to ask for a correction is pretty bad behavior.
