1. We saw people sleeping in doorways, a cup of feces on the sidewalk outside the hotel, a man begging for money way too close to the 7-11 doors for my comfort and one dude that came out of the darkness and tried to get us to give a donation to some organization at 10pm.

2. The traffic was noisy, having said that we both slept really well and have stayed in far more expensive hotels in the UK with less comfortable beds.

3. Our room ticked most of the boxes: it primarily delivered on price, free wifi, free coffee in reception, comfortable bed, helpful reception staff, (free parking which we did not use) and location.

7. Would suggest staying in the comfort inn on lombard street, and budget place and 20min walk to seafront and maybe 30mins to the main pier but cheaper and you get breakfast.

10. We hired Frisco Limo to pick us up at the airport and deliver us to the Wharf Inn, which was a great experience and cost the same as a cab, but far more private & comfortable.
