2. Would suggest staying in the comfort inn on lombard street, and budget place and 20min walk to seafront and maybe 30mins to the main pier but cheaper and you get breakfast.

4. There was a good restarant around the corner for breakfast and a starbucks nearby to buy coffee cheaper than the restaurant's cost of #3.
