3. We were traveling in a big group of about 40, and as our flight was around midnight, the staff were kind enough to allow us to store our luggages in one of the rooms, as they probably have never experienced such a big group storing luggages at the same time.

7. There is a homeless element in sf that seems larger than other big cities (we're from Los angeles) so don't try to avoid it because no matter where you stay, if you leave your hotel you will run into it.
