1. It felt like the center of the bed was caving in and the pillows were hard and flat.

2. san fran itself we found very expensive , eating out especially , unless you head to mels diner, out of hotel and turn left down lombard street for about a mile , great food at great prices a 1950s style diner like something straight out of grease.

4. i think the other reviewers have given an accurate overview of the hotel and i would tend to agree with their points, only additional thing i think i would have liked to have known about before arriving is that there are some great areas for restaurants/shops nearby.

6. When you first enter The hotel it does look like it needs to be redecorated and even though we had booked a non-smoking room we were given one for smokers and it stank of cigarette smoke which was not good.
