1. With free parking, a simple, but decent continental breakfast, courteous and responsive staff, good location and acceptable rooms, the Buena Vista is one of the best values in San Francisco.

2. I requested and got a king smoking room, desk staff was quite helpful, housekeepers were very nice, danish/croissants, coffee and oj are the breakfast - totally acceptable.
