1. there is a pool and tables outside with a lovely big firepit that if they had a bar would be the ideal place for a beer.

7. It is undergoing extensive refurbishment so I'll give it a try next time I'm in town on business as it is a lot more relaxing than the big downtown hotels and only 20 mins to Union Sq on the charming trolley cars.

10. i would to a certain extent agree with this, BUT the rooms are still light and equipt with modern facilities (tea/coffe, big tv etc) and there was a large display in reception showing the redevelopment which will be taking place 2012.
