9. )Lots of great places to eat near the hotel, it is literally half a block or less from the Muni and BART Station at Powell, there's a decent pastry and coffee shop just outside the hotel on the same block as Parc 55 heading towards BART, and you're only blocks from Union Square and all the shopping any human could stand.
