2. best of all, an hour before the wedding ceremony when my fiancee realized he left his suit slacks at home, gary? or was it stan? called a cab service for us, and when no one picked up on the line, he ran outside and hailed my fiancee and maid of honor a cab and shot them down to a men's dress store, even going so far as to dial us in with someone he knew there.

4. the location is unbeatable: right on columbus avenue nestled between faboo italian restaurants, bakeries, and some of the best damned espresso you'll ever encounter.

5. We also had the best chinese meal ever at House of NanKing on Geary Street - its a must.

6. You have to check out Mama's which is a 5 min walk from the hotel, they serve the best breakfasts in the world but you have to queue for approx 20 mins as it is that popular.

9. Tel the staff where you're planning to eat out and get a yeah or nay from them, they know everywhere in the city and their recommendations for eating out were the best food we had.
