4. Visit the Ferry Building by the water front and taste and see -- go to the Ferry Plaza Seafood Restaurant and have a cup of clam chowder and try the dungeness crab tower with flavors of grapefruit, avocado and grapefruit vinegrette topped with flaky crab meat - oh yes, it is delicious.

5. I am very big about quality of service and I was left with a very bad taste in my mouth about the quality of the front desk staff, as well as, in the restaurant.

The 'homemade' trio of ice cream (caramel, strawberry and oatmeal cookie-a strange combination, in my opinion, but the caramel flavor was really and truly the only enjoyable and seemingly fresh tasting one of the 3) were scooped out with a tiny melon baller, to which the hotel had the nerve to charge $8 for each lousy dessert.

7. Much to our further disappointment, my husband's flour-less chocolate cake was not only extremely dry, but tasted as if they had made it a week prior, and were still trying to pass it off as if it were made fresh that morning.

10. Great location, trolly stop right out the door, immaculate rooms with tasteful decore, wonderful linens and warm and helpful staff from housekeeping, doormen and front desk.
