1. Wine and cheese/crackers, fruit, soft drinks, and sparkling water were available nightly at the evening reception on floors 3 and 5 from 530-7 pm.

Location, very good; rooms neither cramped nor cavernous and furnishings comfortable (a desk chair in which one can actually sit and work -- ample hot water -- perfectly clean -- Goldilocks bed, neither too hard nor too soft but just right); parcels received for me before my arrival and kept safe; WiFi gratis; and when I asked to purchase a stamp for a letter I was told that that too was gratis.

8. Not only did the front desk staff help us open it, help us chill the bottle of wine on ice, they also offered us complimentary soft drinks.

9. Each evening between 5 and 7pm the hotel provided complimentary wine, cheese, nuts and soft drinks etc and this proved to be an ideal way to meet the other guests and relax.

10. 30pm every night wonderful wine and chees reception on the 5th and 3rd floors, great local wines, wonderful fruit and cheese platters and soft drink (pop) if you do not want to sample lovely wines from Napa.
