8. This was our 1st visit to the big Apple and we chose this hotel firstly because it was in a good location (Penn Station, Empire State, Macy's nearby) but also because we wanted our hotel to look New Yorkish.

9. the last night of our stay there was a big accident on 6th avenue (2 blocks away from the hotel) however this accident took out some water mains which left a few hotels without hot water.
