2. The amenities were nice, with a couple of exceptions: the towels were small, scratchy, and cheap, closer to Super 8 quality than what I'd expect from a Hyatt.

We enjoyed exceptional service from start to finish: doorman, bellman, front desk, maintenance (delivered refrigerator), pool attendant, housekeeper, concierge, room service, bartender, bar hostess/manager, and finally, the parking garage attendant and manager (key didn't work on final exit but it was taken care of quickly).
