If you can get a room here for about $30-40
cheaper
than a hotel in the city I would recommend it.

cheaper
that renting a car and more fun and relaxing than driving ourselves.

So, if you don't mind 10-20 min travel time, staying at a nicer and
cheaper
hotel downtown may be your best bet for the money.

Cab ride to downtown was <$10, and buses take less than 15 minutes as a
cheaper
alternative.
