1. The shower had low pressure, and the bathroom in general reminded me of 1970's Holiday Inn which is clearly not what you are paying for.

As a Starwood Platinum member, I emailed the general manager, Peter Simoncelli, in advance, to inquire about an upgraded room and of course, they always say 'upon check-in' you will receive the best room available and he also, offered a room on the Executive Club Level for additional $40, which I decline.
