6. For the common areas of the hotel, in place of a lobby bar or lounge there is sort of a library on the mezzanine floor which is a nice touch.

10. As opposed to many nice NYC hotels, with their bustling lobbies or their hipster (sorry I hate that word, too) scene, Chambers offers a respite from the hectic world that is mid-town Manhattan.
