6. We are heading back to New York and needless to say, we are not staying at the Pen this time which is unfortunate as we love the Pen in Hong Kong.

7. I made a complaint to the manager who was a lovely woman and responded promptly to my complaint but one day later, the same thing happened again so obviously it is not a random act.

8. The hotel is really wonderful:- lovely rooms, newly refurbished, decent size bathrooms with baths and I think we also had a walk in shower although I am writing this some months later, so cannot recall for sure now.

10. The small indoor bar area, with a smattering of tables, is lovely, but the 2 outdoor terraces just did not look as nice as the photos on the Pen's website, pre or post Irene.
