6. Every night, with the translucent Rockefeller Center floating handsomely amidst the gorgeous, fabled cityscape surrounding it outside our window, we were faced with the temptations of leaving the drapes open all night and braving the rising sun.

9. The hotel's public space is gorgeous and I used to think the rooms were awesome but on this last visit, they seem to be showing some wear and tear and don't seem quite as pristine and glamorous.
