2. From the bell guys, to the front desk people, to the servers in the bar/Red Salt everyone seems genuinely happy to serve you and do whatever they can to make your stay the best it can be.

4. We saved the best for last and Kauai and Koa Kea was the last stop on our trip and boy are we happy with that decision.

5. Views are nice everywhere--we looked over the courtyard rather than spending another 100$ per night for an ocean view, and we were perfectly happy.

6. Paul, Meghin,Laura,Justin and many others not only provided amazing service but in a way that you knew they were happy to be at work not just performing the job but happily.

7. Stay here if you have an eye for detail, want all the comforts and are happy to find Hawaii on your own terms, not have it shoved in front of you all the time.

8. Each day they would ask if we needed directions, ask if we would like the top up or down on the car, anything you could ask for, they were more than happy to help.

10. We were happy to have lunch at Brennecke's Broiler (a short walk down the beach - casual place) and dinner at Merrimans a short drive away (at the upstairs restaurant - excellent fish and scallops).
