1. There wasn't any fridge in the room so we had to use the ice bucket to keep drinks cool.

2. I was told the AC wasn't turned on yet, that it was an old system, and they hadn't finished making the switch from heat to cooling.

3. The staff is friendly and was very accomodating when we found our 6th floor room very warm (as this is a older hotel and they had not yet switched the hotel from heating to cooling) they quickly moved us to a room on the 3rd floor which was much cooler.

5. The window only opens 6 inches (to prevent people from jumping since the room is so hot I assume) so it took a while for the room to air out and cool down.

6. The next morning, I nicely asked the front desk folks to move us to a room with better circulation so we could stay cool and they put us in a spacious corner room at no extra cost.

8. The first night, I turned on the a/c thinking it would cool some while I slept, but I woke up several times because it was hot and had to sleep without a blanket.

10. It's an old-style boutique hotel, so the rooms are small, the layout is non-standard, and you open a window to cool off from the radiator heat.
