1. lots of renovated charm (very nice except tub old and need more power in the showerhead) and fantastic service in the included excellent breakfast buffet (smoked salmon and eggs and mueslix etc).
"close to the action...nice rooms...best service in long time...slow elevators " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/3/2012 Vote
2. Location (except for the freeway) is fine - it's in the 'NoCharge' zone for public transit and it's a 20-25 min walk to Pike Place Market from the hotel.
"Spectacular staff make this one a good choice - but park somewhere else! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/26/2012 Vote
3. Strongly, STRONGLY suggest that you request a high room on the West side of the hotel as soon as you book - the noise from the freeway was pretty bad though continuous so except for the trucks and sirens it turned into white noise after a while.
"Spectacular staff make this one a good choice - but park somewhere else! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/26/2012 Vote
4. LocationNot much around the hotel, except for the highway and a Bartell Drugs 2 blocks down on 4th avenue.
"All good, but location could be better " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/31/2011 Vote
5. Breakfast is very good and in a pleasant, sun-filled space with exceptional, upbeat servers.
"Top-notch service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/27/2011 Vote
6. Overall, we had an average experience and I really have no major complaints - with the exception of the mattress.
"No major concerns but not a 4 star experience. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/25/2011 Vote
7. The Hotel is good in general except the followings are annoying,1.
"Good Hotel but not great " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/19/2011 Vote
8. As we arrived and everyday after, the staff at this hotel were exceptional.
"Relaxing/restful/eventful " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/14/2011 Vote
9. Bottom line: the Renaissance is updated and clean, but they have not gone the extra mile with regard to amenities or small touches to make it exceptional, and inconsistencies in customer service quality make it fall short of very good.
"Nice place, iffy staffing " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/22/2011 Vote
10. The hotel had a bit of a 'conference hotel' feel about it, not a lot of personality but complete with all the things one would need on a business trip, except for internet: $14/day - shocking and shameless.
"Good for business trip - but internet charge is scandalous " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/24/2011 Vote
