1. As a seasoned traveler why would you wait 45 minutes in a hallway lobby for a hotel employee to bring up new room keys? I would wait 5 minutes and go down and get new ones? It is our responsibility to check the hotel room for our items before leaving.

2. They said we will be right up with new keys, about 45 minutes later after we called them again, they brought some up and those keys didn't work either.

3. I just don't understand why hotels spend big money on granite counter tops and new carpet and latest TV sets, provide different types of pillows to choose from, but would not spend top dollars on updating the most important piece of furniture in their business, THE BEDS.

4. With an 'fresh look' of this hotel chain and 'newly renovated rooms', Holiday Inn Seattle did not WOW me at all with my first night of stay here.

9. They were also renovating while we were there -- so the hallways were packed with new furniture being moved in/out of the rooms.

10. The beds were comfortable (although I don't like HI pillows in general, these included), the room was very clean, everything was new, and the shampoo and lotion were Bath and Body Works.
