3. The only reasonable feature of the Monaco is the staff, all of whom are relentlessly friendly and helpful; for example, they gave us a voucher to soothe the grouchiness caused by cold morning showers.

4. My wife and I went via train to Seattle for shopping and a Seahawks game (preseason win over the Raiders), and we stayed with Hotel Monaco primarily for the location, previous reviews, and reasonable price.
