1. Great boutique hotel a couple of blocks off Union Square, less than comparable hotels nearby but beautiful antique furnishings, comfy beds, upscale linens and convenience make this a great value.

3. Plus sides : staff; not many rooms which makes it more personal; comfy beds and although on a buzy road v quiet bedroomsMinus sides: not for the high tech; no AC; canned music in reception( somehow associated with big chains, hence takes away the charm).

10. The hotel room was clean, staff was friendly, bed was firm and comfy, we stayed on the 7th floor on Taylor St side to avoid the street noise and it was reasonable, so 6th floor would be ok too, but avoid the alley and Geary St .
