5. My wife and I went on this trip by ourselves and enjoyed our stay, we took several walks around the resort area which include the Disney resort, the other Marriotts, and some shops/ restaurants, the whole area is just awesome.

6. So basically, the grounds are pretty & the staff is nice, but unless you're staying in that awesome 2 bedroom suite in the NAIA tower (better view of the lagoon) this place isn't worth the price.

7. I scoped out the other resorts along the strip (Marriott Villas - essentially condos without resort services/pools; Disney Aulani - awesome kid-friendly pools/water features but packed and expensive; JW Marriott Ihilani - dated, adult-oriented, seemed to only have 1 pool but a rather cool stingray pond) and was satisfied that we picked the best choice for us.

10. When you stay at the resort, look for Crystal (she sets up activities) and Luu McCarty, Sales Exec for timeshares -- they are awesome.
