1. One word of caution is that it can be damp and cool in the winter months at the Lodge.

4. There is a free bus shuttle to take to the Sister Beach resort (which has a kids club) but we like to stay up at the Lodge and enjoy the cool air and beauty of the high-county.

5. They have shuffle board,chess, two pool tables foosball and computers if teens want to stay in on a cool nite, yet its pleasant for adults to have a game n enjoy the fire in the also.

6. The ride may get a bit chilly (for Hawaii) so bring a lite sweater, or ask the driver to turn off the air if it's really cool.

10. PROS:LOCATION: It's at a higher elevation and right at the base of a mountain range, so it's very cool.
