3. We used the services of the Ohana desk (concierge/activities desk) and found them knowledgeable and were able to book a catamaran dinner cruise, as well as tickets to the Kupanaha magic dinner show in the hotel, which we would recommend as a fun evening and nice dinner.

There were a few gas barbeques near the beach that we did utilize, showers to rinse off near the beach, a great little pool shop that rented boogie boards and had many items needed for a day of fun in the sun, and a cool gift shop There were also a few vendors that sold great jewlery, plants and wood carvings when we were there for a very reasonable price.

8. This is what we imagined a hawaiian vacaion to be, it was paradise compared to Wiakiki beach where we were pursued constantly by time share sales people, who did a great job of taking the fun out of this part of our vacation.

9. The location was convenient - as everyone else said, right by Black Rock & Whaler's Village - but we were still glad we had the room and car package since we did drive to Maalaea Harbor to do the Turtle Town & Molokini Crater snorkeling trip (lots of fun) and Lahaina Harbor for whale watching.
